The People's Republic of West Korea is the third largest country in the world. It is arch-rivals with East Korea following the dissolution of Korea after the Unity War. The economy of the country is largely based in manufacturing.

History Edit

Korea has existed in several forms throughout history. In its original form, Korea was one united country. However, following a tense period of internal conflicts that led to the collapse of the government institutions. The country dissolved into dozens of smaller countries which each governed independently of one another. The country, due to the long nature of its existence, has been united and collapsed several times.

Currently, the country exists as two separate countries: West Korea and East Korea. The country was divided in half following what is known as "The Unity War", which was a rebellion of East Koreans with the assistance of New Frengland and Gertalia.

Geography Edit

The country is the third largest in the world behind only the Siberian Federation and Canada.

Government Edit

West Korea is a One-Party Republic, led by the Unitarian Party, which promotes the continued unity of the Koreas and continues to threaten annexation of East Korea.

The current head of state is Chairman Wu Jing, who came to power around MPSP05 following the collapse of the Korean Union. General Secretary Tenzi Wen is the Head of Government and responsible for internal administration of the party apparatus.

Economy Edit

The country is the leading producer of manufactured goods in the world, particularly electronics and plastics. Chances are you are reading this on a West Korean made product.

West Korea also has the largest tea industry in the world, exporting its products throughout the world. It has largely been able to push out Frenglish Tea competitors since the collapse of the Frenglish economy.

Culture Edit

The country's tea industry is crucial to many important cultural celebrations and traditions, including religious tea ceremonies. The country's arts scene is dominated by traditional music and dance, though East Korean pop culture is becoming increasingly influential in the country.
